Ellen Bloom

Ellen has 25 years of experience in the structured settlement field. Her career began in New York, where she assisted in opening the first structured settlement office on the East Coast. She began her career by providing direct assistance to clients including the City of New York legal department, and the judiciary, in many of the New York Court venues.

Ellen has also traveled extensively throughout the United States at the request of her clients, and has brought her expertise to settlement conferences and mediations since 1981. Her years of experience in settling personal injury claims has provided her clients with a valuable resource. Ellen’s knowledge of structured settlement tax law, and the use of Special Needs Trusts and Medicare Set-Aside Trusts has proven invaluable to both plaintiff and defense during negotiations.

Ellen is a member of the National Structured Settlement Trade Association and a member of the NSSTA’s Committee on Legislation and Regulations. She received her B.A. and Master of Science degrees from Pace University and is a licensed life agent.
