Joanne Cella has over 20 years of experience in the structured settlement field, most notably in facilitating settlement of a variety of types of claims by assisting the parties directly at settlement conferences, mediations and negotiations. This experience, as well as Joanne's in-depth knowledge of the various issues faced by the parties in establishing structured settlements, is an invaluable asset to her clients and attorneys. As a result, Joanne has worked with the parties to implement creative solutions, such as coordination of Supplemental Needs Trusts, non-qualified annuities, attorney fee structures and a variety of other approaches.
In addition to the general tort personal injury experience common among structured settlement brokers, Joanne also has extensive experience in medical malpractice litigation, products liability, environmental and toxic tort liability, workers compensation and automobile liability. In addition, Joanne conducts local and national seminars on the use of settlement annuities in resolving claims, and is a member of the National Structured Settlement Trade Association (NSSTA).
Joanne received a Bachelor of Arts degree in business administration from Baruch College in 1980, and is a licensed life agent.
