Jim is the Senior Partner managing the Scottsdale office. As an eighteen year veteran of the structure settlement industry, he has had the opportunity to be involved in Federal and State cases throughout the United States. He is a long standing member of the National Structured Settlements Trade Association.

Prior to becoming a broker, Jim has held positions including Risk Management Administrator for the City of Phoenix, Risk Manager for the State of Illinois, and Assistant Deputy Director for the Illinois Department of Insurance.

In 1990, Jim founded the Arizona Public Risk Management (PRIMA) Chapter and was elected its founding president. Within the year he was elected nationally to PRIMA's Board of Directors and served a two year term prior to be elected as PRIMA's National President. As PRIMA's National President, Jim served on the Board of Directors for the International Federation of Risk and Insurance Management Associations.

In 1992, Jim served as the Vice Chairman for the Arizona Governor's Task Force on Tort Reform.

Jim holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Administration of Justice from Southern Illinois University, an Advanced Safety Certificate from the National Safety Council and an Associate in Risk Management (ARM) from the Insurance Institute of America.
