Greg Mayer, a member of Atlas Settlement Group New York Office, has over 20 years financial, legal and claims experience.

Prior to his affiliation with Atlas Settlement Group, Greg was a top producing broker for Ringler Associates, the largest national structured settlement firm. Greg began his Structured Settlement career five years ago as a broker with EPS Settlements Group, the second largest national structured settlement firm.

Greg specializes in using structures to help settle complex mass tort matters, product liability matters, high exposure casualty matters and medical malpractice matters through out the United States. Greg’s staff is capable of providing the support necessary to provide quotes, closing documents and trust documents to settle mass tort and complex litigation matters.

Greg entered the insurance field in 1995 with American International Group Technical Services (AIGTS) where he became an Assistant Vice President in charge of mass tort claims. Greg specialized in the settling of large complex mass torts. Greg taught negotiations to the home office divisions of AIGTS.

Prior to working in insurance, Greg was a associate in the insurance and bankruptcy departments of Bigham, Englar, Jones & Houston. Greg started his legal career in 1986 with the Bronx District Attorneys Office, where he was a prosecutor.

Greg started his financial career in 1984 with E.F. Hutton where he worked in commodities. In 1986 he joined Yankee Financial Group in Greenwich, Connecticut as a broker and equities trader.

Greg is a licensed life and health insurance agent, Registered Representative with the National Association of Securities Dealers and is a Certified Structured Settlement Consultant(CSSC). Greg is admitted to the State and Federal Courts of New York.

Greg earned his B.A. with a major in economics from Manhattanville College in 1984 and his J.D. from Pace University School of Law in 1990 and his designation as a CSSC from Mendoza School of Business, Notre Dame University in 2002.
