With over 11 years in the insurance industry, Melanie brings a wealth of personal injury and worker’s compensation experience to her clients. She began her insurance career in Florida with Allstate Insurance in 1998. She moved to Dallas in 2001 and continued her career with Nationwide Insurance, specializing in complex injury, employment and worker’s compensation files. Prior to joining Atlas Settlement Group, Melanie worked as an Insurance agent; holding multiple state life, health, property, and casualty licenses with a focus on Commercial and Worker’s Compensation sales.

Melanie’s responsibilities include attending mediations, settlement conferences and performing file reviews. She designs annuity plans unique to each individual client and presents the proposals in an easy to understand format. Melanie recommends alternative funding and/or reinsurance agreements for her workers’ compensation clients. She understands the unique reserving and compliance issues that her clients face.

Melanie is a graduate of Florida State University. She is certified by the Texas Department of Insurance to provide training in structured settlements to adjusters, which includes continuing education credits. Melanie is also a member of the National Structured Settlement Trade Association. She is licensed to sell life annuities as well as P&C business.
